Everything wonderful begins in the mind with a thought, an idea or a dream. The World's Kitchen began as a simple idea to help one child and grew into what it is today, all from that one thought. For many months now, a concept has played in my mind and grows each day in my heart, as a burning desire to do more. I know feeding the body is important but once the hunger is eased then it is essential to not only minister to the need but to the potential in our youth. For this reason, I have begun the process of putting together what I call the "TWK Dream Center" which will be a place of new beginnings, where youth affected by society's ills and without fathers, can experience a new hope and have a chance to dream out loud.

It is my sincere wish that the youth who come to TWK will be nourished not only in body but also encouraged through the arts, theater, music, and sports. Our trained counselors will guide them and motivate our youth to reach into themselves and find new strength and purpose. The TWK Dream Center will be available to the youth ages 8 through 20 and will be located adjacent to all TWK kitchens.
